I have taken classes with Khushi before (going back to 2009) which is why I was willing to take the plunge into a course that I had very little knowledge about, and one that seemed rather intensive and personal. Khushi has a gift of creating a loving, nurturing community through her courses, and this was true for her cleanse course. She provides lists, lectures, videos, everything you need to be successful. The course was well planned and thought out to provide a lot of nourishing self care. Surprisingly the online course format worked very well, and allowed for maybe more participants than in person, as well as people from multiple states and countries. 
If you are contemplating this class and are hesitant, don’t be. Go for it. You will learn a lot, you will grow as a person, you will be proud of what you can accomplish, and you will be nurtured.

Khushi kindly and warmly led us through several days of preparation before our cleanse, for some a first. I would recommend this course to anyone who wants to learn about the ancient practices of Ayurveda. This is a deep and experiential dive into the daily cleansing practices. It was a gift to have a teacher who truly will walk you through the knowledge, practices and big day cleanse as well as a community that were dedicated, open and supportive along the way. I feel very grateful to have taken this course and will continue the profound practices I learned.I’ve been training with Alisa for about 9 month now. One who practices Yoga, at some point, will have to practice Ayurveda. And one who practices Ayurveda, at some point, will have to practice Yoga. The two are sister streams, sister sciences that live and breath within one another.

Ayurveda is more than just your Dosha (constitution). This incredible science presents a vast and deep understanding of the human body and what supports its proper function and thriving. The vital essences of the elements and their role in supporting our digestive fire is at the core of Ayurvedic practice as it relates to Yoga.
