One of the most important and understated poses of yoga, a deep guided relaxation leads us eventually into Yoga Nidra (Yogic Sleep). Shavasana is a powerful practice in letting go of tension and stress in the body, as well as giving the body and mind the space to enter a deep restful sleep.
